Life Begins

A poem written my me several years ago. I will be releasing these over time.

​It changes,
      as we become older.
It has risks,
      as we become wiser.
Shallow is the mind,
      which is never used.
Truth begets understanding,
      which seeks compassion.
Challenges are chosen,
      as we survive the mind.
Time is of importance,
      which answers with memories.
Forgiving is forgotten,
      as we turn and walk away.
Death proves to be inevitable,
     with which life ends the beginning.
