Artist Penny FireHorse

Penny is a mixed media artist. She is best known for “Flowers in Bloom” glass series. Penny creates hand painted glassware with up-cycled glass and acrylic enamel paint.

She procures the glass, porcelain and ceramic from local businesses for many home decor projects including teapot sets, vases, and various other pieces. This supports the community and keeps many of these items out of landfills and repurposes them for beautiful art pieces.

Her passion is to help those who suffer from trauma discover new ways to express emotional pain constructively through art. Penny created the “The Heart of Colors Project as non-profit project dedicated to serving trauma survivors by providingabstract art classes for the community at large.
